About

Saludos! My name is Julian Fellerman, a recent graduate of International Studies at the University of Washington and, until recently, an inhabitant of the beautiful Pacific Northwest. This past fall I decided to put the brakes on a rapidly approaching 9-5 existence, and instead opted to do a volunteer service teaching English in Chile. That being said, the purpose of this blog is to chronicle my travels, wax daily about musings and Chilean cultural quirks, as well as keep in touch with all of my friends and family back home (so much love!). I suppose the title, “To Chile, and beyond”, aside from resembling an all too familiar slogan from everybody’s favorite childhood toy astronaut, is a bit representative of where I am at this point in my life. So, without much further ado, let’s see what lies beyond!

Think like a wise man but communicate in the language of the people.  -WB Yeats
